MC Hisrar hosting the V4 Campus Show

V4 Campus – A premier show on the widely popular V4 Media News channel is a show which imbibes both education and entertainment for the viewer. It is hosted by Mangalore’s top MC, Hisrar. This show is the brainchild of MC Hisrar himself and it has amassed a huge fan following within few months of its inception. This show had its first screening on the 19^th of April 2009. MC Hisrar visits educational institutions and covers all the latest buzz and excitement there. The show usually is divided into 5 or 6 episodes and is telecast every Sunday at 5.40pm. V4 Campus has already completed over 25 episodes and is still going strong. Namma Mangalore had an opportunity to interview the host of the show MC Hisrar. Excerpts from the interview:

NM: Sir, Your show has become popular all over Mangalore nowadays. How do you feel about this?

Hisrar: Well, it’s a great feeling. But we still have lots of progress to do. Our aim is to make this show popular in whole of Karnataka. With God’s blessing, everything is possible. We intend to stay as the Number 1 Show in Coastal Karnataka for a long time.

NM: Sir, we have come to know that this show was your idea. How did you get this idea? And who all have supported you in this regard?

Hisrar: This was a new and unexplored concept, so I was sure it would succeed. I have got a lot of support from my parents. I am very thankful to them. Also, Laxman Kunder, Mime Ramdas, our cameraman Prasanna, and all the team members have been very instrumental in making this project a success.

NM: How many weeks did it take to actually implement all of this?

Hisrar: Well, it took a lot of hard work. We spent nearly two weeks getting it all together. I had to go to the colleges and give them a guest lecture about my show.

NM: What are your future plans?

Hisrar: We plan to cover all the Engineering colleges of Mangalore and Udupi first. Then we would move on to degree colleges and schools. Yet if any college is willing to allow us to conduct our show in their college, we shall gladly oblige.

NM: What according to you are the benefits of V4 Campus? What makes it different from other shows?

Hisrar: V4 Campus teaches the students how to face the camera, and also to get rid of their stage fear. It also enables them to showcase their talents to people. It has also brought out many hidden talents of the students. It makes them more confident. They are made to realize their mistakes in life, in the last part of the show, where confessions are made, which is really heartwarming.

NM: You have been regarded by many people as the number one MC of Mangalore ! How do you feel about this?

Hisrar: It feels really good! I always try my level best and leave the rest to God. I take Him as the partner for all my work. I believe that everything is possible with the help of God. One sentence which gives the power to move on is – You do what you can, and God will do what you cannot. With this faith, I shall continue to do my work, and hope the people will support me throughout my life.
